EAST LANSING, Mich., Feb. 28 -- Michigan State University issued the following news release:
Laura Chomiuk, MSU assistant professor of physics, has been named a 2017 Cottrell Scholar.
Awarded by the Research Corporation for Science Advancement, the Cottrell Scholar program recognizes early career teacher-scholars in chemistry, physics and astronomy by providing a $100,000 award for research efforts.
