AUGUSTA, Maine, Aug. 25 -- The Maine Democratic Party issued the following news release:
Representatives from the Maine Republican Party today refused to accept a box of 14,000 pink slips delivered to the party's Augusta headquarters by Maine Democratic Party Chairman Phil Bartlett.
Bartlett was joined by Maine State Rep. Charlotte Warren of Hallowell and fast food worker Mindy Bergeron-Lawrence of Winslow.
