RALEIGH, N.C., Aug. 17 -- The North Carolina Republican Party issued the following statement by Executive Director Dallas Woodhouse on early voting:
"What law would the Democrats have us follow on early voting--the one Republicans wrote that expanded early voting sites and hours that Democrats helped block along with voter ID? Or should we follow the law as it is now, that the Democrats themselves wrote?
"We did not send send an email calling for a blanke . . .
