WINDOW ROCK, Ariz., Sept. 1 -- The Navajo Nation, a federally-recognized Native American tribe, issued the following news release:
Site work and preparation has begun for the parking lot construction at the Navajo Abandoned Mine Lands (Navajo AML/UMTRA) Office. Demolition of the existing parking lot is scheduled to begin on September 13 with new construction to conclude by the end of the month.
