BOSSIER CITY, La., April 26 -- The city of Bossier City issued the following news release:
Bossier City's Fire Chief and Police Chief are asking Bossier City voters to approve a property tax renewal in order to continue funding salaries for fire and police personnel. On Saturday, May 1 voters will go to the polls to consider renewing a 6 mil property tax that will generate $3 million annually for the police and fire departments.
