TALLAHASSEE, Fla., April 25 -- Gov. Charlie Crist, R-Fla., has issued the following statement:
"Earl Durden represented what is best among Florida: a life time of dedicated service to his community, a deep respect for people and a constant desire to help others. Our state may have lost a Great Floridian, but his spirit and compassion will live on and impact many generations to come.
