SAN MARCOS, Texas, April 26 -- Texas State University issued the following news release:
The Texas State Men's Lacrosse team defeated the University of Texas on Sunday in the Lone Star Alliance Conference Championship game by a score of 12-10. The victory propelled the Bobcats to their first ever conference championship and earned the squad an automatic bid to the Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association's National Tournament in Denver.
