NEW DELHI, India, April 26 - The government of India issued the following news release from the Ministry of Environment and Forests:

While there is no hydro power project from the state of Andhra Pradesh pending for environmental clearance, a total of five thermal power projects; viz. 1980 MW Coal based TPP of M/s Kineta Power Pvt.
