NEW DELHI, India, April 26 - The government of India issued the following news release from the Ministry of Environment and Forests:
Under the provisions of Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) Notification, 2006, eleven irrigation projects have been received from the Irrigation Department, Government of Maharashtra for environmental clearance.
