WASHINGTON, April 26 -- The office of Sen. Olympia J. Snowe, R-Maine, issued the following news release:
Today, the Surface Transportation Board announced the state of Maine and the Montreal, Maine, & Atlantic (MMA) Railway will enter into mediation, which could lead to the state taking control of the railway. In response, U.S. Senator Olympia J. Snowe (R-Maine) released the following statement:
