WASHINGTON, April 26 -- Rep. Candice S. Miller, R-Mich. (10th CD), issued the following news release:
U.S. Congresswoman Candice Miller (MI-10) today urged Congress to quickly act to stop the spread of Asian carp and keep the Great Lakes from being threatened by this invasive species. Congresswoman Miller is a cosponsor of the Carp Act (H.R. 4472) which will designate the immediate closure of certain Chicago-area locks and develop permanent solutions to stopping the spread of Asia . . .
