BETHESDA, Md., April 25 -- The National Electrical Contractors Association issued the following news release:
A new bill to get tough on companies that misclassify employees as independent contractors was introduced Thursday in the Senate by Sen. Sherrod Brown (http://www.brown.senate.gov/) (D-OH) and in the House of Representatives by Rep. Lynn Woolsey (http://woolsey.house.gov/) (D-CA). The measure is a companion to the Taxpayer Responsibility, Accountability and Consistency Act . . .
