WASHINGTON, April 26 -- The U.S. Department of Education issued the following news release:
Alberto Retana, director of community outreach for the U.S. Department of Education, will meet with community members, educators, parents and students Tuesday in Lanham, Md., to discuss funding available to Maryland to turn around its lowest-performing schools.
