JACKSON, Miss., April 26 -- The Mississippi Department of Transportation issued the following news release:
All state routes were passable within hours of the tornado that swept across Mississippi on Saturday, enabling rescue crews and other first responders to access the areas of Yazoo, Holmes, and Choctaw counties that were hardest hit by the storm, reported Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) District 3 Engineer Kevin Magee.
