MODESTO, Calif., April 26 -- The city of Modesto issued the following news release:
Performers and vendors are needed for the 40th Annual Juneteenth Celebration. Co-sponsored by the King-Kennedy Memorial Center Board of Directors and the City of Modesto Parks, Recreation and Neighborhoods Department, the Juneteenth Celebration will include a youth talent show on Friday, June 18, from 6-9 p.m. and a community celebration on Saturday, June 19, from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. at the King-Kennedy . . .
