LAKE CHARLES, La., April 26 -- Calcasieu Parish issued the following news release:
Governor Bobby Jindal proclaimed April 2010 as "Alcohol Awareness Month" in the State of Louisiana. An average of 11,000 American youth between the ages of 12 to 20 try some form of alcohol for the first time each day. In an effort to decrease these numbers here in Calcasieu Parish, Project KNOW is a Police Jury program funded through a grant from the Governor's office and the Office of Ad . . .
