CANTON, Mo., Aug. 25 -- Culver-Stockton College issued the following news release:
Culver-Stockton College welcomed 231 freshmen as classes started today - the largest freshman class in a decade. Total new student enrollment for the Fall 2008 semester is 307 - the third consecutive year that Culver-Stockton has surpassed the 300 mark.
College President William L. Fox credited the new curriculum, EXP@CSC, as a primary reason for the 13.8 percent increase in freshman . . .
