MARYVILLE, Mo., Sept. 24 -- Northwest Missouri State University issued the following news release:
Conservationist and Emmy-winning television personality Jeff Corwin will speak at Northwest at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6, in Charles Johnson Theater. Corwin's appearance, which is being sponsored by the Student Activities Council, is free and open to the public.
An outspoken advocate on behalf of endangered species and ecosystem preservation, Corwin is known to viewers . . .
