EVANSVILLE, Ind., May 7 -- University of Southern Indiana issued the following news release:
The University of Southern Indiana women's basketball team announced that 5'5" sophomore guard Ellen Young (Salem, Illinois) has signed to play for Head Coach Rick Stein's Screaming Eagles in 2008-09.
Young transfers from Southern Illinois University Carbondale where she was named to the Missouri Valley Conference All-Freshman team after averaging 11.9 points and 3.5 re . . .
