KANSAS CITY, Mo., Dec 15 -- The University of Missouri at Kansas City issued the following news release:
At its November meeting, the American Physical Society (APS) elected University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) Curators' Professor Wai-Yim Ching to its Fellowship Society - an honor bestowed to only the top half of 1 percent of its members. With more than 45,000 members, the College Park, Md.-based American Physical Society is the second-largest organization of physicists.
