LAS CRUCES, N.M., Oct. 16 -- The city of Las Cruces issued the following news release:
The man suspected in yesterday's armed robbery of an ice cream shop is now facing additional charges.
Ricky Joe Garcia, 44, who has addresses in Hatch, N.M., and Las Cruces, was arrested shortly after yesterday's armed robbery of the Baskin Robbins at 1492 Missouri Ave. He was originally charged with one count of armed robbery and one count of tampering with evidence.
