DENVER, Calif., April 7 -- California State University Sacramento issued the following press release:
Sacramento State junior Gabe Jacobo was named the Western Athletic Conference Hitter of the Week, as announced by the conference on April 7.
Jacobo, who has been splitting time between left field and first base during the season, hit .421 (8-of-19) and registered five runs, eight hits, eight RBI, and four home runs as Sacramento State went 3-0 in WAC play last week. . . .
