NON-CITIZENS MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR DISASTER RECOVERY AID

PASADENA, Calif., Nov. 21 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following press release:

People who are not U.S. citizens may be eligible for federal and state disaster assistance through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to recover from the California wildfires this month.

Non-citizens who are "qualified aliens" are eligible for FEMA assistance. That includes those who have a legal perman . . .
