SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif., Nov. 20 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's U.S. Forest Service's Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit issued the following press release:
At approximately 2:00 pm, a report of smoke came in, in the vicinity of Fallen Leaf Lake near South Lake Tahoe, CA. A Forest Service Fire Prevention Unit responded along with USFS and local government units.
At approximately 2:30 pm, the fire, called the "Leaf Fire'" was reported to be roughly . . .
