School Counseling Program Grant Recipients Named By Education Department

CHICAGO, July 29 -- The American Counseling Association issued the following news release:
The U.S. Department of Education (ED) has announced the new Elementary and Secondary School Counseling Program (ESSCP) grant recipients for the 2008-2009 school year. The coming academic year will see 53 new grants in 52 school districts in 26 states. Funding will be continued in 35 school districts awarded grants in 2007 and 51 school districts awarded grants in 2006.
