SILVER CITY, N.M., Oct. 28 -- Western New Mexico University issued the following news release:

Two days after Americans celebrate Halloween, some will celebrate Day of the Dead. The two holidays are similar in the visuals of skulls and bright colors, but are mostly different in significance.
