AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 24 -- Gov. Rick Perry, R-Texas, announced the following appointment:
Gov. Rick Perry has named G. Kemble Bennett of College Station presiding officer of the Texas Board of Professional Engineers for a term to expire at the pleasure of the governor. He also appointed four members to the board, which licenses qualified engineers, enforces the Texas Engineering Practice Act and regulates the practice of professional engineering in Texas.
