WASHINGTON, Oct. 1 -- Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Ranking Member Susan Collins, R-Maine, issued the following news release:
Senators Susan Collins (R-ME) and Chris Dodd (D-CT) today announced that October 5-11 will be recognized as "Fire Prevention Week." This designation was made possible by last night's Senate approval of a resolution introduced by Dodd and Collins.
