TRENTON, N.J., June 6 -- The New Jersey Department of Education issued the following news release:
The AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress) status of 79 schools has changed because of final No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) calculations for the 2006-2007 testing period, New Jersey Department of Education officials announced today.
Only ten schools saw a decline in status; the status of 69 schools improved as a result of the recalculation. A list of the schools and their pre . . .
