STATE SEN. ZAKAS: NEW LAWS IMPROVING CONSUMER PROTECTIONS, EDUCATION, ENVIRONMENT, HEALTHCARE & PUBLIC SAFETY GO INTO EFFECT JULY 1

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., June 30 -- Indiana State Sen. Joseph C. Zakas, R-11th District, issued the following news release:

State Sen. Joe Zakas (R-Granger) said that although lawmakers focused on property tax relief and reform this past session, other matters of concern such as consumer protections, education, the environment, healthcare and public safety were addressed.

Lawmakers focused on those concerns, creating nearly 100 new laws that will take effect July 1, Zaka . . .
