CHAMPAIGN, Ill., Oct. 30 -- The City of Champaign issued the following news release:
Recent data from RealtyTrac shows foreclosure activity in Illinois was at its highest level the month of August. The State of Illinois currently ranks 9th in the U.S. for foreclosure filings in 2008. The number of filings in Illinois marks an increase of 25.3% from 2006 and a 94.3% increase from 2005.
