GARY, Ind., Sept. 18 -- Indiana University Northwest issued the following news release:
Indiana University Northwest announced today that the Gary campus would remain closed Friday, Sept. 19, and that all weekend classes and activities would be canceled as the floodwaters that inundated the campus this week slowly recede.
Most classes at IU Northwest do not meet on Fridays, but any that do will not take place tomorrow. A Friday evening event featuring spoken-word ar . . .
