BOONE, N.C., Oct. 27 -- Appalachian State University issued the following press release:
Vicky Grube, an assistant professor of art at Appalachian State University, has been named the Higher Education Art Educator of the Year for 2008-09 by the North Carolina Art Education Association (NCAEA).
The award is based on significant contributions to the visual arts. NCAEA and National Art Education Association members in higher education were eligible.
