MURRAY, Ky., Feb. 8 -- Murray State University issued the following news release:
Dr. Camille Serre, professor in the department of art at Murray State University has been named the Art Educator of the Year for Higher Education in the state of Kentucky for 2007. This distinguished honor recognizes her many long hours of dedicated service. Head of the department's art education program, Serre came to the university in 1985 after having received her Ph.D. from Purdue University.
