LAS VEGAS, March 3 -- New Mexico Highlands University issued the following news release:
A recent federal grant to New Mexico Highlands' School of Education will help local teaching assistants earn their bachelor's degrees at the university.
The $70,000 Title II grant will pay tuition, fees and books for 15 to 20 teaching assistants from the West Las Vegas School District and provide each with a small stipend after the successful completion of their classes, said Ka . . .
