BIDDEFORD, Maine, Oct. 30 -- University of New England issued the following news release:
Robin Caron, a second-year medical student at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, was named a 2008 George J. Mitchell Pioneer Scholar.
The award was presented at the 2008 Mitchell Institute Fall Gala on Oct. 10, 2008. Caron was one of the Mitchell Scholars to address the audience, along with the evening's keynote speakers - Senator George J. Mitchell . . .
