RADFORD, Va., Oct. 28 -- Radford University issued the following news release:
Radford University will host the annual Appalachian Teachers' Network Conference on Saturday, Nov. 1 , from 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the university's Selu Conservancy Barn. The conference theme is "Appalachia as Resource." The keynote speaker is Jeff Biggers, author of United States of Appalachia: How Southern Mountaineers Brought Independence, Culture and Enlightenment to America.
