ST. PAUL, Minn., Aug. 26 -- Minnesota State Sen. Katie Sieben, DFL-27th District, issued the following news release:

The arrival of Labor Day means that our school children are heading back to their classrooms, ready for another academic year. Parents and teachers hope for a smooth transition from the lazy days of summer to the hectic pace of fall.
