Retired Air Force Lt. Col. Robert Sberna of Summerville, S.C., has been named director of cadet activities at The Citadel.
Sberna has been at The Citadel since 1998 as a tactical officer, a staff member responsible for 1st Battalion. Before coming to The Citadel, he spent 22 years on active duty in the U.S. Air Force. During his military career he was an aviator and navigator, logging 2,200 . . .
