MANKATO, Minn., June 23 -- Minnesota State University, Mankato issued the following news release:
A group of college students has unearthed some significant historical and cultural findings on Prairie Island.
The students have been excavating sites since May 19 on Wakonade Drive just up the road from U.S. Lock and Dam No. 3. They wrapped up their work Friday.
