CORVALLIS, Ore., July 8 -- Oregon State University issued the following news release:
The future of safe, environmentally benign nuclear power will be able to fit on top of a railroad car, be hauled to wherever it is needed and be cost-effectively manufactured in a factory setting, according to the vision of a new spinout company that has evolved from research in the College of Engineering at Oregon State University.
