WEST VIRGINIA UNIVERSITY TECHNOLOGY RECEIVES $25,000 GRANT FOR RESEARCH IN CLEAN COAL, RENEWABLE ENERGY

MORGANTOWN, W.Va., June 16 -- West Virginia University issued the following news release:

The West Virginia University Institute of Technology will receive a $25,000 grant from PPG Industries, which will allow students to continue groundbreaking research in the area of renewable energy.

Natrium plant manager and Tech alumnus Jim Rock will present the award at 1 p.m. Tuesday (June 17) on the WVU Tech campus.
