NEWARK, Del., Aug. 26 -- The city of Newark issued the following news release:
Beginning today, City of Newark residents will see an increase in their electric bills. Wholesale power prices have risen dramatically over the last few months, with a sharp increase in July, prompting an immediate increase of 17.5% to residents' electric bills.
