HARTFORD, Conn., Aug. 1 -- Connecticut State Senate Democrats issued the following news release:
Senate President Donald E. Williams, Jr. (D-Brooklyn) today endorsed Gov. M. Jodi Rell's call for a special legislative session later this month to debate and pass a multi-million dollar package of energy assistance designed to help Connecticut residents cope with the high cost of home heating oil and to survive the coming winter in safety and comfort.
