OLYMPIA, Wash., July 14 -- Washington State Sen. Jim Honeyford, R-15th District, issued the following statement:
President Bush today lifted an executive ban on offshore oil drilling on the Outer Continental Shelf, although new oil exploration will remain off limits until Congress also takes action.
