ANCHORAGE, Alaska, Oct. 10 -- Anchorage Mayor Mark Begich, the Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate, issued the following news release:
On the day Senator Ted Stevens lost his eighth attempt at having his corruption trial thrown out of federal court, his campaign for U.S. Senate launched a negative radio ad yesterday attacking U.S. Senate candidate Mark Begich's character and record.
The ad, paid for by the Stevens' campaign, makes a series of inaccurate statement . . .
