Chevron Donates Monitoring Equipment to Southeastern
HAMMOND, La., Aug. 25 -- Southeastern Louisiana University issued the following news release:
Chevron's Gulf of Mexico Strategic Business Unit has donated a wide variety of safety and health monitoring equipment to Southeastern Louisiana University's Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment program.
The equipment, which includes noise dosimeters, sound level meters, gas and vapor detection units, and other measuring and monitoring instruments, will be used to provide hands-on training

Rule Passes to Clarify the Presence of Animals in Outdoor Dining Areas; Becomes Effective Sept. 1
RALEIGH, N.C., Aug. 27 -- The North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources issued the following news release:
