Delegation Announces $30 Million Grant to Sitka Rocky Gutierrez Airport
ANCHORAGE, Alaska, Aug. 24 -- The office of Sen. Mark Begich, D-Alaska, issued the following news release:
The Alaska Congressional Delegation today announced Airport Improvement Program Grants for Alaska airports totaling $59 million. Provided by the U.S. Department of Transportation, funds will enhance aviation safety, reduce noise, and improve facilities for future aviation growth throughout the state.
