WASHINGTON, July 23 -- The Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued the following news release: The Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff will meet with representatives of FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company on Thursday, July 29, to discuss the agency's assessment of safety performance last year at the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station.
