'Spring Forward for Autism' Run Has Special Meaning for Reno Firefighter
RENO, Nev., April 20 -- The city of Reno issued the following news release:
Sunday's "Spring Forward For Autism" 5K run/walk at Mackay Stadium has special meaning for Reno Firefighter Art Reitz and his wife Carol who will be working as staff members for the special event they founded three years ago.

HATTIESBURG, Miss., April 19 -- The University of Southern Mississippi issued the following news release:
The highly acclaimed DuBard Association Method Course will be offered by The DuBard School for Language Disorders on June 7-11, 2010 on The University of Southern Mississippi's Hattiesburg campus.

Juried Student Artworks at Sullivan Taylor Coffee House April 20-May 7
MACOMB, Ill., April 19 -- Western Illinois University issued the following news release:
The juried artworks of Western Illinois University art students will be on display in the Sullivan Taylor Coffee House on the Macomb Square Tuesday, April 20-Friday, May 7.
A 6-8 p.m. Tuesday (April 20) public reception will kick off the exhibition. The awards presentation will begin at 7 p.m.

Sorority Raises $2,300 for Autism Charity
LAS VEGAS, April 20 -- New Mexico Highlands University issued the following news release:
New Mexico Highlands' Nu Eta sorority raised $2,300 for an autism charity April 18 during a fundraiser walk.
Nearly 150 people joined members of the sorority for a walk benefiting Autism Speaks in Perkins Stadium, and several others made financial donations. Autism affects one in every 110 children and one in every 70 boys. This is the fastest growing serious developmental disability in the U.S.
